The Palestine Exploration Fund

The PEF’s collection of articles and personal effects extracted from other collections consists of stamped envelopes, photograph boxes and envelopes, snuff and cigarette boxes. The main group of material is a large collection of cigarette and other boxes used to contain the small archaeological finds from the Samaria excavations in the 1930s.
