Since 1997 David Kennedy and Robert Bewley, with the support and
co-operation of the Jordanian authorities, have been carrying out a
programme of aerial reconnaissance and photography of the
archaeological sites of Jordan. The first results are
published in this book, 220 colour photographs, as important for the
study of the archaeology of Jordan as they are beautiful. |

From the Iron
Age to the present day numerous quarries, cisterns, conduits, and
chambers have been constructed on the Temple Mount. These have
been published piecemeal in various places over the last 150
years. This volume brings all of this material together in a
single reference work for the first time.
