APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR PALESTINE EXPLORATION FUND RESEARCH GRANTS
Each year the Fund offers grants for research into topics connected with the aims for which it was founded:
Eligibility
The Executive Committee of the Fund has decided that all future applicants for Fund grants should be or become subscribers to the Fund.
Deadline
The deadline for applications is 31 January of each year.
Application Form and Procedure
When making your application to the Fund for a research grant, please print out the form below and return it to the PEF. Applicants must restrict the length of their application to that of the form provided; overlong applications will be penalised or rejected unread.
This form, when completed, will be photocopied and circulated to all members of the Executive Committee before the meeting at which the applications will be considered.If you wish, you may send with the summary a more detailed estimate of costs, the objectives of your project, and past seasons' work.

Grants are paid to successful applicants shortly before the money is to be used. The ultimate deadline for claiming a grant award is the end of the October of that year. If the grant is taken up, but the recipient is unable to carry out the project as scheduled, recipients must contact the Grants Manager as soon as possible, and return the cheque.
A condition of the award of grants by the PEF is the submission of a short report of at least 500 words within two months of the completion of the project. Each report will appear in the 'Reports' section of PEQ and will also be used on the web site.
